Jay and Silent Bob, the two suburban street urchins you grew to love (or at least acknowledge) in such Kevin Smith films as CLERKS and DOGMA, are fully unleashed in the comedic free-for-all JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK. The album's soundtrack perfectly suits the mood of the film in that it's both sufficiently irreverent and often downright silly. Musically, this disc is a mixed bag that moves from the skater-punk of Stroke 9's "Kick Some Ass" to the Ryan Adams-penned "Choked Up" and classic parking-lot ass-kickers like Steppenwolf's biker anthem "Born to be Wild" and Run-DMC's hip-hop call to arms "Tougher Than Leather."
