Jade Cocoon 2 for PlayStation 2 - Known as one of the more complex and rewarding monster collecting games in existence (and there are plenty of them around these days), JADE COCOON mixed solid storytelling with mind-blowing action and thoroughly advanced strategic elements. Its sequel casts you as a new Beast Hunter, Kahu, though the original JADE COCOON hero, Levant, is in the game as a guide. You'll set up a home base in the town, where you'll be able to collect equipment, perform odd jobs for money, and build up your reputation. Once you've passed certain requisite tests, you'll start collecting monsters to take into battle against other beast Hunters. Along your journey, you'll have the ability to gather eggs that eventually hatch into young beasts and can be trained to fight for you. Taking place a full hundred years after the original story, this follow-up features an awesome collection of characters and plot points, and its difficulty level is serious enough to make even the most accomplished gamers break a sweat.
