2006 KIA Sedona - Originally introduced in 2002, this Kia minivan will be reintroduced in 2006 with an all-new platform, which could shrink the vehicle's weight by as much as three-hundred pounds. The sheet metal used in construction is also brand-new. A sister Hyunai model will be produced alongside the Sedona, marking the first occasion in which the two brands have shared a platform. Retaining its front-wheel-drive, the Sedona will also be offered with both short and long wheelbases. It is believed that the Hyundai variant will only be produced with the long wheelbase. It has also been speculated that the Sedona will receive a considerable upgrade in interior features without an appreciable increase in the price tag.
