Powermonger for DOS - A halfway point between Populous and Syndicate for Bullfrog games, Powermonger cast the player as a dispossessed warlord plundering his way through 195 territories on the way to world conquest. Trade, diplomacy, inventions, and scorched earth invasions all played a key role in how the player progressed through the game. Players could also battle each other head-to-head with a modem connection. Millions of randomly generated worlds to conquer.
