CUPOLA SELECTION TIPS: When trying to determine the size of cupola keep this guideline in mind: There should be at least 1.5 inches of cupola width for every foot of unbroken roofline of the structure the cupola is being placed upon. In other words, multiply the length of the structures roofline (in feet) by 1.5 and that's roughly the size of cupola width (in inches) that would best complement the structure.
